Exciting news! We're celebrating the progress of The Tun™ on November 10th, 2025! While our official grand opening will be delayed due to securing the remaining funding, we've achieved remarkable milestones thanks to incredible Marine enthusiasm and support. This isn't a setback; it's a steppingstone! 

Here's a quick recap of our progress: We've purchased the land, finalized construction designs, navigated all city documentation and public hearings, held a ceremonial groundbreaking, and – amazingly – received two $1 million donations from individual Marines! 

Join us for a celebratory weekend culminating in events on November 10th. Your presence is crucial; it demonstrates the strong community support we need to secure the final funding and open The Tuns ™' doors. This celebration will be a chance to: 

• Thank you: We want to express our gratitude to our invaluable supporters, volunteers, and future patrons. 

• Showcase progress: We'll share updates on our achievements and the exciting developments at The Tun™. 

• Offer a preview: Get a sneak peek of what The Tun™ will offer and the vibrant community space we're creating.
• Show your support: We are often asked by potential donors and interested Philadelphia-area funding sources, “Will Marines really support this?” 

The Tun Legacy Foundation understands the grand opening delay may be disappointing, but we're confident in our ability to reach our goal. We're working diligently to secure the remaining funds and will announce the official opening date as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we are planning a FULL weekend of historic and unique Philadelphia experiences that are specific to the Marines!  Please save the dates, November 8-10th, 2025! We'll share finalized event details as they become available. We can't wait to celebrate this journey with you!
