Be advised that Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States of America flag and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings beginning at sunrise on Saturday, April 2, 2022 through sunset on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the day of interment, in honor of Captain Ross A. Reynolds, USMC, formerly of Leominster, MA, who passed away north of Bodo, Norway during a NATO training exercise on Friday, March 18, 2022.

Captain Reynolds, Marine Tiltrotor Squadron, 261, Marine Aircraft Group 26, 2d Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Air Corps Station New River, NC, will be laid to rest at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA on 04-05-2022.

This gubernatorial order applies to:

1.  The main or administration building of each public institution of the Commonwealth, e.g. town and city halls

2.  Other state-owned or state-controlled buildings

3.  All state military installations
